Class 4 Curtain‑Sider Truck Driver (Dayshift)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Class 4 curtain‑sider truck driver for dayshift operations in the Auckland region. You will be responsible for the timely pickup and delivery of LCL freight, ensuring goods are handled safely and arrive damage‑free.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and collect freight efficiently across Auckland.
• Secure loads in compliance with NZTA regulations.
• Complete daily pre‑start and post‑trip vehicle checks.
• Maintain the truck in a clean, road‑worthy condition.
• Accurately complete delivery paperwork and use driver apps such as Allotrac.
• Report any damages, faults, or issues promptly.
• Collaborate closely with dispatch and support the wider team as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years driving heavy rigid vehicles (18 000 kg+).
• Previous experience operating a curtain‑sider truck (essential).
• Full, current Class 4 licence with Dangerous Goods endorsement.
• Strong knowledge of the NZ Road Code and Heavy Vehicle Loading Code.
• Good familiarity with Auckland metro routes.
• Safety‑first mindset with high attention to detail.
