Class 4 Curtain‑Sider Truck Driver (Dayshift) – Auckland

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Class 4 curtain‑sider driver for dayshift operations in the Auckland region. You will be responsible for the timely pickup and delivery of LCL freight, ensuring goods are handled safely and arrive damage‑free.

Key responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver freight across Auckland efficiently.
• Secure loads in accordance with NZTA and Heavy Vehicle Loading Code requirements.
• Perform daily pre‑start and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
• Keep the truck clean, roadworthy, and well‑maintained.
• Complete delivery paperwork and operate driver apps such as Allotrac.
• Report any damages, faults or issues promptly.
• Collaborate with dispatch and support the wider logistics team as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years driving heavy rigid vehicles (≥18 000 kg).
• Proven experience with curtain‑sider trucks.
• Current full Class 4 licence with Dangerous Goods endorsement.
• Strong knowledge of the NZ Road Code, Heavy Vehicle Loading Code and Auckland metro routes.
• Experience with LCL freight is preferred.
• Excellent time‑management and communication abilities.
• Safety‑first mindset with high attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with driver mobile applications (e.g., Allotrac).
