Civil Project Manager

About the role

Abergeldie is seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to join its Auckland team. You will lead the delivery of a growing pipeline of infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet programme, cost, safety and quality targets.

Key responsibilities

• Take full accountability for project performance across schedule, budget, safety and quality.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors and suppliers across multiple work fronts.
• Drive commercial outcomes including cost control, forecasting, reporting and claims management.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, authorities and other stakeholders.
• Lead, develop and mentor high‑performing project teams while fostering a strong safety culture.

Required profile

• Significant experience delivering complex infrastructure projects in a Tier 1 or Tier 2 environment.
• Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and specialist subcontractors.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of building high‑performing teams.
• Commitment to safety leadership and embedding safe work practices.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
