Civil Engineer – Land Development & Three Waters

About the role

Inovo is seeking a motivated Civil Engineer to join its Auckland team. You will contribute to a variety of infrastructure, subdivision and multi‑unit development projects, ranging from small parcels to large schemes of up to 1,000 lots.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver civil infrastructure for land development and three‑waters projects.
• Participate in all project stages from concept through detailed design to construction delivery.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with the Resource Management Act, planning processes and contract requirements.
• Prepare technical documentation, modelling outputs and design calculations.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification such as a Bachelor of Engineering or National Diploma in Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of land development and/or three‑waters engineering experience in Auckland.
• Strong mathematical, time‑management and organisational abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with 12D software.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD.
• Experience using EPA‑net, stormwater modelling and 2D flood‑modelling packages.
• Competence in Microsoft Office applications.
