Civil Designer (Intermediate/Senior)

About the role

We are looking for a Civil Designer to join Land Matters in Otaki, Wellington. The role involves delivering land development and infrastructure projects across New Zealand within a collaborative, high‑performing team. Candidates can be at an intermediate or senior level.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed civil design plans for land development and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare design documentation, drawings and specifications in line with project requirements.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, surveyors and contractors.
• Ensure designs comply with local regulations and standards.
• Support project delivery from concept through construction.

Required profile

• Relevant civil engineering or design qualification.
• Experience at an intermediate or senior level in civil design.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
