Civil Construction Team Leader

About the role

We are looking for a Civil Construction Team Leader to head hands‑on civil projects that shape New Zealand’s infrastructure. The role is based on‑site in Porirua and offers the chance to work across a variety of earthworks, concrete and foundation works within a family‑owned company that puts safety, quality and people first.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate civil construction projects from mobilisation to completion.
• Oversee earthworks, concrete pours and foundation installations ensuring compliance with specifications.
• Manage on‑site teams, subcontractors and resources to meet schedule and budget targets.
• Maintain rigorous safety standards and uphold quality control throughout all phases.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading civil construction teams on infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of site safety, quality management and on‑site supervision.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a family‑owned environment that values people.
