Chief Operating Officer

About the role

Timescapes is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to act as the operational engine of a fast‑scaling construction‑tech company. Reporting to the CEO, you will own day‑to‑day operations and build the foundations that enable rapid growth across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement operational systems and infrastructure to support accelerated growth and a 10x increase in volume.
• Run the operating rhythm, including leadership meetings, business reviews, and quarterly planning.
• Own core business systems (ERP, CRM, field service, billing) and align sales‑operations planning.
• Build a modern data and Business Intelligence capability from scratch.
• Establish data governance and knowledge‑management structures to enable AI‑driven decision making.
• Oversee end‑to‑end field service operations: distribution, logistics, fleet, installations, and regional service teams.
• Manage the customer operational experience, from first site touch to uptime and response times.
• Drive gross‑margin improvement as the company scales.

Required profile

• Proven experience scaling operations in a high‑growth technology or construction environment.
• Strong track record of building operational foundations and systems.
• Ability to act as the CEO’s second‑in‑command and translate strategy into execution.
• Data‑driven mindset with a focus on visibility and continuous improvement.
