Chief Executive Officer (CEO) – Retail & Franchise

About the role

Liquorland is seeking a visionary Chief Executive Officer to steer its national retail brand across more than 175 stores. This role blends strategic leadership with hands‑on influence over retail, franchise, merchandise, customer experience, and commercial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the long‑term strategic direction for Liquorland.
• Partner with franchise owners, suppliers, regulators and industry stakeholders to enhance the customer proposition.
• Drive sustainable commercial growth while upholding community responsibility.
• Lead cross‑functional teams across category, merchandise, and customer strategy.
• Build and nurture high‑performing teams and future leaders.

Required profile

• Proven senior commercial leadership experience (CEO, Managing Director, General Manager or equivalent) at scale.
• Track record of delivering P&L results in retail, FMCG, liquor, franchise or customer‑centric businesses.
• Strong ability to influence, build trust and align diverse stakeholder groups.
• Commercially astute, people‑focused and ownership‑mindset.
