Chat Operator – Remote (New Zealand)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Chat Operator to join a global, fully remote team based in New Zealand. You will monitor and improve AI‑assisted conversations on large‑scale online platforms, ensuring a high‑quality user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor chat conversations for extended shifts (8+ hours) to maintain smooth and appropriate interaction flow.
• Intervene when necessary to enhance clarity, tone, or response quality on behalf of conversational companions.
• Track, evaluate, and analyse communication patterns between users and AI agents.
• Assess the performance and accuracy of AI‑generated replies, identifying strengths and weaknesses.
• Report technical or content‑related issues in automated responses for continuous improvement.
• Coordinate requests for supporting content such as images or videos aligned with user interaction needs.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to stay focused on repetitive tasks.
• Methodical, disciplined, and structured approach to daily work.
• Good understanding of user behavior and basic customer psychology, coupled with strong empathy.
• Interest in AI tools and willingness to learn new systems quickly.
• Fast learner with a proactive, growth‑oriented mindset.
• Excellent written Russian language skills and a good command of English.
