Category & Promotions Assistant

About the role

As a Category & Promotions Assistant you will support the delivery of promotional campaigns and category initiatives across our retail network. Reporting to a Category Manager, you will maintain product data, coordinate store communications and help ensure smooth execution of key trading activities. This role offers exposure to the fast‑paced FMCG sector while building commercial and merchandising expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain product, article and pricing information in merchandising systems.
• Coordinate updates to ranging and introduce new products.
• Administer private‑label activity and manage related documentation.
• Prepare communications to support retail execution across stores.
• Assist Category Managers and Planners with day‑to‑day category tasks.

Required profile

• Current experience in supermarket, retail, merchandising support or administration.
• High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Analytical mindset and confidence working with data.
• Eagerness to learn and progress in your career.
