Casual Registered Nurse – Aged Care

About the role

Join our supportive team at Ryman’s Murray Halberg Retirement Village in Lynfield, Auckland, as a Casual Registered Nurse. You’ll deliver high‑quality, compassionate nursing care to residents while enjoying fixed shifts that promote work‑life balance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high‑quality nursing care to residents and their families.
• Assess residents, develop and regularly review individual care plans.
• Administer treatments, medications and ongoing support.
• Utilise the purpose‑built myRyman care app to record care and communicate with the team.
• Support the Clinical Manager and Unit Coordinators as needed.
• Build lasting relationships with residents, families and colleagues.

Required profile

• Current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) in nursing.
• Proven experience in aged‑care nursing.
• Reliable, friendly and professional demeanor.
• Clear, confident communication skills.
• Ability to share knowledge and work collaboratively.
• Strong leadership qualities and a commitment to high‑quality resident care.
• New Zealand work rights.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the myRyman care application.
