Cases Lead – Pacific

About the role

The Cases Lead – Pacific will oversee the delivery of case law content for the Pacific region, ensuring it meets LexisNexis quality, timeliness, accuracy and AI‑readiness standards. This position acts as the regional hub for all case‑law operational matters, collaborating with product, technology and commercial teams to transform legal publishing into intelligent, searchable content.

Key responsibilities

• Lead operational delivery of case‑law editorial work across Pacific jurisdictions.
• Monitor performance metrics, service levels, quality indicators and delivery timelines.
• Ensure editorial quality, consistency and compliance with LexisNexis publishing standards.
• Serve as the primary regional contact for case‑law operational issues.
• Manage relationships with courts, reporters, vendors, licensors and external content providers.
• Drive workflow improvements, regional initiatives and AI‑enabled editorial practices.
• Collaborate with Product, Technology, Data Science, Editorial and Commercial teams to enhance legal content and customer experience.

Required profile

• LLB or equivalent legal qualification.
• Experience in legal practice, legal publishing, legal research or editorial operations.
• Familiarity with legal content, case‑law analysis and legal information products.
• Exposure to digital publishing, legal technology or AI‑assisted workflows is advantageous.

Required skills

• Knowledge of legal publishing standards and editorial processes.
• Ability to manage stakeholder relationships across courts, vendors and licensors.
• Experience with AI‑enabled editorial tools and workflow optimisation.
