Care Assistant – Night Shift (Sleeping Nights)

About the role

Join Agincare as a Care Assistant working sleeping night shifts (10 pm‑7 am) to support clients in maintaining independence and comfort in their own homes. This full‑time, onsite role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference during the night hours.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance, including washing, dressing and toileting.
• Support clients with everyday tasks such as medication reminders, meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Offer reassurance, companionship and comfort throughout the night shift.
• Document care activities accurately and report any changes in client condition.
• Adhere to health and safety, safeguarding and infection‑control procedures.

Required profile

• Availability to work night shifts (10 pm‑7 am) on a rotating weekend schedule.
• Right to work in the UK with at least 12 months remaining on visa (no sponsorship offered).
• Kind, compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to help others.
• No prior experience required – full training will be provided.

Required skills

• Basic literacy and numeracy to complete care records.
• Ability to follow written instructions and care plans.
