Butler – Luxury Hospitality Role

About the role

Rosewood Kauri Cliffs is seeking a dedicated Butler to deliver highly personalized, world‑class service to its guests. This full‑time position blends luxury hospitality with the stunning natural backdrop of New Zealand’s Bay of Islands.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a warm, personalized welcome and orientation, ensuring guests feel instantly at home.
• Anticipate guest needs, arrange special requests, and create meaningful connections.
• Deliver in‑suite Food & Beverage service with meticulous attention to detail.
• Manage guest itineraries, requests, and follow‑up promptly and accurately.
• Collaborate with all hotel departments to ensure seamless, unified guest experiences.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in luxury hospitality (hotels, resorts, or lodges).
• Excellent verbal and written communication with immaculate personal presentation.
• Ability to handle guest itineraries and resolve issues discreetly and professionally.
• Genuine passion for creating memorable, personalized guest experiences.
• Adaptable, resourceful, and intuitive in anticipating guest needs.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of a Property Management System (PMS) – advantage.
