About the role

Abbott is seeking a Business IT Systems Support Analyst to ensure the stability, availability, and performance of its IT systems and applications. The role involves proactive monitoring, issue resolution, and ongoing maintenance to support business operations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain IT systems, providing timely resolution of incidents.
• Analyze software and hardware problems and coordinate practical solutions.
• Plan, schedule, test, and execute system software upgrades.
• Maintain system and application availability through proactive and reactive maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate clearly with team members and external stakeholders regarding IT applications.
• Participate in local and corporate‑initiated IT projects.
• Perform operational analysis of data‑collection systems and control software.
• Prepare testing and validation documentation for hardware and installation activities.
• Lead and manage external vendor technical resources when required.
