Business Development Specialist

About the role

Landing Share, a digital marketing and technology firm in Auckland, is seeking a full‑time Business Development Specialist to expand its client base across New Zealand and international markets. This hybrid role combines lead generation, relationship building, and end‑to‑end sales support.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in digital marketing, SEO, SEM, website development, advertising monetisation, and SaaS services.
• Conduct outreach via research, referrals, networking, email, phone, LinkedIn and other channels.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
• Prepare basic proposals, quotations, presentations and service introductions with internal support.
• Coordinate with marketing, technical and operations teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and project delivery.
• Track leads, manage communication records and report on pipeline progress.
• Support partnership discussions with agencies, publishers, e‑commerce businesses and software companies.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of commercial experience in business development, sales, account management, digital marketing, SaaS or related fields.
• Strong understanding of internet businesses, online advertising, SEO/SEM and software services.
• Excellent communication, relationship‑building and organisational skills.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and comfortable with proactive outreach.
• Fluent in English; Chinese language skills are a plus.
• Legally authorised to work in New Zealand.
