Business Development & Sales Manager

About the role

Meescan is looking for a driven Business Development & Sales professional to expand its library self‑checkout solutions worldwide. You will combine market research with hands‑on selling, working closely with leadership, sales and marketing to open new markets and close deals.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate new market verticals, geographies and partnership opportunities.
• Develop go‑to‑market strategies and business cases for targeted prospects.
• Build and nurture relationships with library and institutional partners.
• Follow up on referrals, marketing leads and conduct independent outreach.
• Close new business directly while collaborating with the existing sales team.
• Maintain a transparent pipeline and update status for the whole team.
• Represent Meescan at industry conferences and events.

Required profile

• Proven track record of generating and closing B2B, SaaS or institutional sales.
• Comfort operating autonomously with strong personal initiative.
• Excellent relationship‑building and communication skills, especially with US‑based institutional buyers.
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
• Team‑player attitude while thriving in a small, collaborative environment.
