Business Development Manager – Sales

About the role

Kraft Heinz is seeking a Business Development Manager to join its New Zealand sales team in Auckland. You will drive growth across alternative channel customers, private‑label portfolios and new account acquisition while working in a hybrid environment (3 days onsite, 2 days remote).

Key responsibilities

• Manage alternative channel customers such as Costco, The Warehouse and Chemist Warehouse.
• Oversee private‑label portfolios for Foodstuffs and Woolworths, including artwork updates.
• Reduce SCL (SLOB and clearance) for the New Zealand business.
• Collaborate with the Head of New Business Development to create and monitor account‑specific business plans.
• Identify, negotiate and secure new accounts across targeted channels and categories.
• Lead cross‑functional teams to deliver results and own the P&L for a portfolio of categories.
• Manage contract‑manufacturing relationships and the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process.
• Develop tailored product solutions and joint business plans with accounts.
• Communicate forecasting, pipeline, NPDs and pricing information to internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a new‑business or sales development role is desired but not essential.
