Business Development Manager – Renewable Energy

About the role
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive growth for a fast‑growing renewable energy technology distributor in New Zealand. The role will be based in Auckland or Christchurch and focuses on expanding our solar product portfolio across residential, commercial and industrial markets.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and build relationships with installers, designers, and EPCs.
- Form strategic partnerships to expand market reach.
- Scope and assess project opportunities.
- Develop and implement client engagement plans.
Required profile
- Experience as a Business Development Manager in the wholesale/distributor sector, preferably solar.
- Background in electrical distribution and strong B2B sales skills is also considered.
- Proven ability to develop strategies, win clients/projects and support business growth.
Required skills
- Solar industry knowledge
