Business Development Manager – Mortgage Solutions (Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a contract Business Development Manager to join our Auckland team. You will help grow our mortgage portfolio by identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and delivering tailored financing solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the mortgage market.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
• Collaborate with internal teams to design and deliver customized mortgage solutions.
• Conduct market research and analyse trends to inform strategy.
• Meet or exceed sales targets and represent Mega Finance at industry events.
• Assist in creating strategic sales plans and enhance brand presence.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales, business development, and client relationship management.
• Strong knowledge of financial services, especially mortgage solutions.
• Track record of meeting targets and identifying growth opportunities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or a related field.
• Previous experience in the mortgage or broader financial sector is highly advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a results‑driven environment.
• Flexibility to manage hybrid working conditions.
