Business Development Manager – Lubricants (Central NZ)

About the role

Join Bapcor New Zealand as a Business Development Manager focused on lubricants for the Central North Island region. You will lead the promotion and sales of premium lubricant brands such as Fuchs, Castrol and Superiol across the Bay of Plenty, Waikato and Hawke's Bay, driving revenue growth and market expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and market Bapcor’s lubricant portfolio to new and existing customers.
• Identify, acquire and develop new business opportunities within the assigned region.
• Maintain and deepen relationships with existing oil and automotive partners.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to increase market share and achieve revenue targets.
• Conduct market analysis, forecast demand and report performance metrics.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients.

Required profile

• Proven B2B sales experience, preferably in the oil, lubricants or automotive sector.
• Demonstrated ability in solution selling and building high‑value partnerships.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
• Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently across a regional territory.
• Willingness to travel throughout the Bay of Plenty, Waikato and Hawke's Bay.
