Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business Development Manager will expand and deepen relationships with channel partners, driving engagement and sustainable growth for NEXTGEN’s technology portfolio. You will work closely with reseller partners, vendors, and internal teams to identify new opportunities and support partners in building robust sales pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Build and strengthen relationships with existing, emerging, and strategic channel partners.
• Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities while supporting partners to grow healthy sales pipelines.
• Collaborate with reseller partners, vendor stakeholders, and internal teams to execute growth initiatives and achieve sales objectives.
• Facilitate partner training, enablement programs, and accreditation opportunities to enhance partner capability and market readiness.
• Support marketing campaigns, events, and demand‑generation activities that create pipeline and increase market awareness.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, monitor pipeline performance, and provide regular forecasting, reporting, and market insights.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in business development, sales, channel management, account management, or a similar commercial role.
• Experience within ICT, technology, cloud, software, cybersecurity, or distribution environments is highly regarded.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners, customers, and stakeholders.
• Proven track record of achieving sales, revenue, or activity‑based targets.
• Strong communication, presentation, organization, and time‑management skills.
• Tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, Commerce, IT, or a related discipline preferred; relevant vendor certifications are advantageous.
