Business Development Manager

About the role

We are looking for a driven Business Development Manager to join our Cybersecurity team. Based in Auckland, you will grow our strategic vendor portfolio across the Upper North Island by building strong partner relationships and creating sustainable sales opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and strengthen relationships with existing, emerging and strategic channel partners to drive engagement and long‑term growth.
• Identify, qualify and develop new business opportunities, supporting partners to build healthy sales pipelines.
• Collaborate with reseller partners, vendor stakeholders and internal teams to execute growth initiatives and meet sales targets.
• Facilitate partner training, enablement programmes and accreditation to enhance capability and market readiness.
• Support marketing campaigns, events and demand‑generation activities that create pipeline and increase market awareness.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, monitor pipeline performance and provide regular forecasting, reporting and market insights.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience in business development, sales, channel or account management.
• Proven track record of achieving sales, revenue or activity‑based targets.
• Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with partners, customers and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, presentation, organisational and time‑management skills.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, Commerce, IT or related field preferred.
