Business Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking a self‑motivated Business Development Manager to expand market share and drive growth of high‑value IT asset lifecycle and Managed Service solutions. The role combines direct sales, channel partnership development, and strategic account management across New Zealand and internationally.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business opportunities while expanding services within existing client portfolios.
• Deliver margin and revenue targets through quarterly business plans.
• Maintain governance, financial reporting, and SLA/KPI performance for assigned accounts.
• Track all activities, opportunities and pipelines accurately in Salesforce CRM.
• Collaborate with senior sales, product, and marketing teams on planning and market research.
• Own tender processes from contract award to delivery, coordinating cross‑functional teams.
• Partner with Service Delivery to ensure commissioning excellence and pricing accuracy.
• Adhere to internal policies and ISO/R2 quality, environmental, health & safety, and information security standards.

Required profile

• Proactive problem‑solver with strong organisational skills and a passion for technology lifecycle management.
• Deep understanding of professional sales principles and complex end‑to‑end sales processes.
• Experience in IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) or IT Managed Services sales is highly preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication abilities across all stakeholder levels.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
