Business Development Manager

About the role

Supagas is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead the expansion of its Agent and Dealer network across regional Western Australia. Based in Perth, you will drive retention and growth by building strong relationships, identifying partnership opportunities, and promoting the company’s range of cylinder gases.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for all new Agent and Dealer enquiries.
• Develop and implement a sales plan to grow the Agent and Dealer network.
• Manage onboarding, ensuring compliance with safety, pricing and procedural requirements.
• Identify cross‑sell and B2B acquisition opportunities to support new business growth.
• Apply commercial acumen to strategic planning of the assigned customer portfolio, monitoring risk and market conditions.
• Understand pricing principles that affect profitability and accurately prepare contract documents.

Required profile

• Exceptional communication skills with an energetic, resilient and people‑focused attitude.
• Structured, disciplined approach to sales, proven ability to manage negotiations and achieve targets in a competitive environment.
• Relevant industry experience, preferably in the gas sector or similar regulated utilities.
• Willingness to travel interstate to support regional agents and dealers.
