Business Development Manager - Central Auckland

About the role

The Spectrum Group has created a new Business Development Manager position based in Greenlane, Auckland. The role will shape the future of service delivery at Spectrum Care by leading the diversification and growth of services, identifying new opportunities and turning them into sustainable, high‑impact offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and progress new growth opportunities aligned with organisational strategy.
• Strengthen and evolve existing services to maximise impact and sustainability.
• Develop business cases and financially viable service models.
• Build and maintain strong relationships and partnerships across government and non‑government sectors.
• Translate service capability into market‑ready, fundable solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support successful delivery of new services.

Required profile

• Postgraduate qualification in business, commerce or a relevant social/health discipline, or equivalent experience.
• At least five years’ experience in business development or service development in a leadership capacity.
• Strong understanding of the New Zealand social services landscape.
• Established relationships across government and/or NGOs are highly advantageous.
• Strategic thinker with commercial insight and a commitment to improving outcomes for people.
