Business Development Manager - Central Auckland

This newly created position at Spectrum Care offers the chance to shape the future of service delivery in Central Auckland. As Business Development Manager you will lead the diversification and growth of services, turning new opportunities into sustainable, high‑impact offerings while strengthening strategic partnerships across government and non‑government sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and progress new growth opportunities aligned to the organisation’s strategy.
• Strengthen and evolve existing services to maximise impact and sustainability.
• Lead the development of business cases and financially viable service models.
• Build and maintain strong sector relationships and partnerships.
• Translate service capability into market‑ready, fundable solutions.
• Work collaboratively across internal teams to support successful delivery.

Required profile

• Strategic thinker with an understanding of service delivery and funding within the New Zealand social services sector.
• Postgraduate qualification in business, commerce, or a relevant social/health discipline, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of business development or service development experience in a leadership capacity.
• Strong understanding of the New Zealand social services landscape.
• Established relationships across government and/or NGO sectors (highly advantageous).
