Business Development Manager – Auckland (Technology)

About the role

Our client, an established technology consultancy, is expanding its presence in New Zealand and seeks a Business Development Manager to drive market growth. You will own the end‑to‑end sales cycle for enterprise technology and professional services, working closely with senior decision‑makers and internal delivery teams.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities across enterprise SaaS and professional services.
• Engage senior executives and technology leaders to build strategic relationships.
• Lead opportunities from initial contact through to contract signing.
• Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to craft tailored, value‑based solutions.
• Shape and execute the go‑to‑market strategy for the New Zealand market.

Required profile

• Proven success selling enterprise technology, ICT consulting or professional services.
• Experience with complex, multi‑year solutions in large organisations.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to influence senior executives.
• Existing network within the New Zealand enterprise technology market is a plus.
• Commercial acumen, accountability and the ability to work autonomously.
