Business Development Manager - 3PL

About the role

The company is a leading 3PL and fulfilment provider seeking a Business Development Manager to generate new revenue across New Zealand and Australia. This is a hunting role focused on prospecting, securing new accounts and supporting e‑commerce and retail brands with warehousing, fulfilment and distribution solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business opportunities throughout NZ and Australia.
• Build relationships with owners, operations managers, supply‑chain professionals and senior decision‑makers.
• Conduct face‑to‑face meetings, presentations and solution‑based sales discussions.
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract signing.
• Collaborate with operational teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.
• Grow revenue and meet individual sales targets.
• Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers.

Required profile

• NZ citizenship or permanent residency.
• Proven B2B sales and business development experience.
• Experience in logistics, warehousing, freight, courier, transport, fulfilment or supply‑chain industries is highly desirable.
• Strong prospecting, lead generation and cold‑calling ability.
• Consultative, solution‑focused sales approach.
• Confidence engaging senior stakeholders and decision‑makers.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Self‑motivated, results‑driven mindset.
