About the role
PwC New Zealand is seeking a proactive Business Assistant to support its Tax and Legal partners in Christchurch. You will act as the central point of contact, ensuring smooth operations, effective collaboration, and high‑quality service delivery across a fast‑moving professional services environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage extensive diaries, travel arrangements and expense processing for multiple partners.
- Provide strategic and administrative support to partners and a team of 40+ employees.
- Plan and coordinate client and internal meetings, handling room bookings, video‑conference setup and catering.
- Organise local and national events in partnership with the Markets team.
- Coordinate document production with the Document Specialist Team, maintaining PwC brand standards.
- Support project coordination for sector teams and priority clients.
- Guide and up‑skill teams on internal systems and best‑practice procedures.
Required profile
- 3‑5 years of Executive or Personal Assistant experience, preferably in professional services.
- Highly motivated with outstanding client‑service focus and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong inbox, diary and meeting‑management skills with a proactive, collaborative mindset.
- Excellent organisational resilience and the capacity to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and exposure to systems such as Salesforce, Flexipurchase and Workday.
