Business Analyst – Wellington

About the role

NZ Post is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join a collaborative, improvement‑focused team in Wellington CBD. You will work at the intersection of business and technology, helping stakeholders shape solutions that deliver real value for customers and employees.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Product Owners and Project Managers to define analysis approaches that fit the project context.
• Engage a wide range of stakeholders to elicit insights using appropriate techniques.
• Analyse, validate and translate requirements into clear models, user stories and artefacts.
• Collaborate with Architects and delivery teams to explore, shape and refine solution options.
• Champion business analysis discipline and help raise capability across the organisation.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in complex or enterprise environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation abilities.
• Comfortable working in Agile delivery frameworks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Motivated by understanding the “why” behind work and delivering tangible outcomes.

Required skills

• Agile methodology knowledge.
