Brewing Technician – Craft Beer Production

About the role
Join the brewing team at Tuatara Brewery in Upper Hutt and work alongside experienced craft brewers to produce high‑quality beers for DB Breweries. Reporting to the Head Brewer, you will support daily brewing operations, maintain plant cleanliness, and champion health and safety throughout the facility.
Key responsibilities
- Operate brewing machinery and follow the full brewing process to create craft beverages.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment and plant areas to high standards.
- Identify and address process losses using problem‑solving and continuous‑improvement techniques.
- Uphold strict health and safety practices for yourself and colleagues.
- Conduct laboratory testing of products when required.
Required profile
- Passion for beer and craft brewing.
- Tertiary qualification in Science, Food Science, Engineering or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in FMCG process manufacturing.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Willingness to study towards an IBD Brewing Diploma.
