Brand & Sponsorships Specialist

About the role

As the Brand & Sponsorships Specialist you will help build brand equity and manage nib’s sponsorship portfolio across New Zealand. Working closely with the Senior Manager – Brand, Partnerships & Acquisition, you will support top‑of‑funnel brand awareness, the “why nib” value proposition and acquisition‑retention goals.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Senior Manager in driving brand awareness and consideration across all channels.
• Develop, execute and optimise sponsorship strategy, activation and SEO initiatives to maximise visibility and high‑quality traffic.
• Translate brand strategy into consistent campaign execution across marketing, product, partnerships and external stakeholders.
• Measure and report on the commercial impact of sponsorships and SEO activities.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and ROI.

Required profile

• Experience working in a regulated environment, preferably financial services, with strong compliance awareness.
• Proven stakeholder‑management skills and ability to work with marketing, product, sales and external partners.
• Solid understanding of customer behaviour, market trends and ability to use insights to shape brand and sponsorship strategies.
• Track record of delivering brand campaigns, sponsorships or activations.
• Tertiary degree in Marketing, Business or related field.
