Brand Manager (Pet Care)

About the role

Join Nestle Purina PetCare in New Zealand as a Brand Manager and take full ownership of the marketing mix for a key growth brand. You will work across new product development, marketing communications and annual brand planning while monitoring brand performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development of local NZ consumer‑relevant annual brand plans.
• Develop and execute integrated marketing communications plans, covering traditional and digital media.
• Lead cross‑functional project teams for new product development and best‑in‑class launches, collaborating with the central team in Singapore and internal functions such as sales, trade activation, finance and supply chain.
• Conduct routine analysis of brand performance, competition, category trends and consumer insights to identify growth opportunities.
• Manage the brand budget and oversee partnership relationships.
• Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, agency partners and regional marketing contacts.

Required profile

• Completed degree in Commerce, Business or Marketing.
• 2‑3 years of experience in a Brand Manager or similar marketing role, preferably within FMCG.
• Full New Zealand working rights.
• Excellent communication and strong project‑management abilities.
• High level digital marketing experience or a strong desire to develop it.
