BI Developer

About the role

We are a fast‑growing government‑funded organisation seeking an experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to build and evolve our BI capability from the ground up. The role involves creating scalable reporting and analytics solutions, owning project delivery and ongoing BAU support, and working closely with business stakeholders to turn data into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain BI solutions, dashboards, reports and analytics capabilities.
• Establish a sustainable BI and reporting environment from scratch.
• Develop robust data models, integration processes and reporting frameworks.
• Extract, transform and analyse data from Microsoft Dynamics CRM and other business systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Embed data quality, integrity and governance practices within BI solutions.
• Provide support and enhancements for existing reporting environments as part of BAU.
• Lead BI‑related projects and manage priorities across project and operational workstreams.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation through data and analytics.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a BI Developer, Data Analyst or similar role.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM (essential).
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement BI capabilities, reporting frameworks or analytics platforms.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to engage confidently with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Proactive, autonomous and ownership‑driven mindset.
