Batcher – Concrete Plant

About the role

Allied Concrete is seeking an experienced Batcher to join its Nelson plant. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will play a hands‑on part in delivering high‑quality concrete to customers while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate concrete deliveries.
• Batch concrete accurately according to specifications.
• Manage raw‑material inventories and ensure proper handling.
• Monitor plant safety procedures and quality‑control protocols.
• Maintain records and assist with continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Ability to start early and work flexible hours.
• Punctual, reliable and able to make decisions under pressure.
• Commitment to the highest health‑and‑safety standards.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Concrete batching and mixing operations.
• Raw‑material handling in a plant environment.
• Understanding of plant safety and quality‑control procedures.
