About the role
The Banking Consultant will work in the New Market branch delivering friendly, hands‑on support for everyday banking needs. This 12‑month secondment is part‑time (25 hours per week) and includes weekend shifts. You will help customers with transactions, guide them to digital tools and build trusted relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Provide a seamless branch experience by handling transactions, answering queries and promoting digital banking solutions.
- Listen to each customer’s priorities and tailor advice to their financial situation.
- Act as a peer coach and role model within the team to raise service standards.
- Support bank initiatives, drive customer engagement and advocacy.
- Maintain “know‑your‑customer” procedures and manage risk considerations.
- Ensure compliance with ANZ policies and branch operating procedures.
Required profile
- Strong customer focus; retail experience is an advantage.
- Comfortable using a range of digital channels and technology.
- Ability to multitask, adapt to change and work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Willingness to work weekends and commit to a 12‑month part‑time schedule.
- Mandarin or Cantonese proficiency is preferred but not mandatory.
