Banking Consultant

About the role

The Banking Consultant is the friendly face of ANZ, helping customers feel confident about their financial future. You will support everyday banking needs, educate customers on digital solutions, and connect them with the right products and specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Create a welcoming environment and deliver exceptional service to every customer.
• Support customers with day‑to‑day banking transactions and enquiries.
• Understand customers' goals and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Help customers use ANZ's digital and self‑service banking tools.
• Identify opportunities to refer customers to specialist teams when needed.
• Collaborate with branch colleagues to achieve great outcomes for customers and the team.

Required profile

• Passion for helping people and delivering great customer experiences.
• Experience in retail, hospitality, contact centre or similar service environments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build trust with diverse customers.
• Confidence in conversations that uncover needs and identify solutions.
• Proactive approach to learning new skills, products and technologies.
• Attention to detail and ability to balance multiple priorities.
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute to a positive team culture.
