Banking Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a Banking Consultant to join our Customer Engagement team in Tauranga. In this people‑focused role you will help customers with everyday banking transactions, guide them through digital tools and support them in making important financial decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, hands‑on support across all everyday banking activities, ensuring a seamless branch experience.
• Listen to customers, understand their needs and tailor advice, including promoting digital banking solutions.
• Act as a peer coach and role model within the team, contributing to a collaborative workplace.
• Participate in bank programs and initiatives that drive customer engagement and advocacy.
• Maintain compliance with ANZ policies, procedures and risk‑management requirements.

Required profile

• Strong customer focus, preferably with retail or banking experience.
• Comfortable using and promoting digital channels and technology.
• Ability to multitask, adapt to change and work in an ambiguous environment.
• Willingness to work part‑time on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, with flexibility for additional days.
