Banking Consultant – Customer Engagement

About the role

The Banking Consultant joins ANZ’s New Zealand Customer Engagement Division at the Sylvia Park branch. You will help customers with everyday banking transactions, introduce digital tools, and support them in making informed financial decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers and assist with a wide range of banking needs, from simple transactions to account openings.
• Listen to each customer’s priorities and tailor advice to their situation.
• Promote and demonstrate ANZ’s digital banking channels in an easy‑to‑understand manner.
• Guide customers through product enquiries, updates, and new service introductions.
• Maintain compliance with banking regulations and internal policies.
• Collaborate with team members and celebrate collective achievements.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑focus with experience in retail or service environments.
• Comfortable using and promoting technology and digital channels.
• Ability to multitask, adapt to change and work in a collaborative team.
• Good understanding of compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency with digital banking tools and platforms.
