Banking Assistant – Henderson

About the role

Kiwibank is looking for a friendly and detail‑oriented Banking Assistant to join its Henderson branch. This entry‑level position offers a solid foundation in financial services and the chance to grow into areas such as home lending, leadership or IT.

Key responsibilities

• Provide face‑to‑face service, assisting customers with deposits, withdrawals, payments and account queries.
• Guide customers on digital banking tools and resolve transaction‑related issues.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with bank policies and security standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and enhance the customer experience.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail with proven numerical, administrative and technical abilities.
• Team‑player who enjoys delivering high‑quality customer service.
• Enthusiastic about learning and embodying Kiwibank’s purpose and values.
• Willingness to work fixed‑term hours (30 hrs/week) before transitioning to a permanent schedule.
