Kiwibank is seeking a friendly and detail‑oriented Banking Assistant to join its Napier branch. This entry‑level position offers a solid foundation in financial services and the chance to develop a career path across home lending, leadership, IT and more.

Key responsibilities

• Provide face‑to‑face service, assisting customers with deposits, withdrawals, payments and other transactions.
• Guide customers on digital banking tools and answer account‑related queries.
• Maintain accurate transaction records and ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and enhance the customer experience.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and a passion for accuracy.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer‑focused attitude.
• Basic numerical, administrative and technical aptitude.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a supportive team environment.
