Azure Data Consultant

About the role

Arinco is looking for an Azure Data Consultant to join its Intelligent Data Practice. You will help customers across Australia and New Zealand design, build, and optimise end‑to‑end data platforms using Microsoft Fabric and Azure Databricks, while contributing to internal engineering initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver end‑to‑end data projects for clients, focusing on ingestion, transformation, and analytics pipelines.
• Develop and maintain scalable data platforms on Microsoft Fabric or Azure Databricks.
• Apply data‑engineering best practices for performance, cost, and security across Azure services.
• Collaborate with data engineers, architects, analysts, and project managers to ensure successful delivery.
• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, new offering development, and IP creation.

Required profile

• Strong experience building data platforms with Microsoft Fabric or Azure Databricks.
• Hands‑on expertise in data ingestion, transformation, and analytics pipelines.
• Proven track record of data‑engineering best practices, performance optimisation, cost management, and security.
• Fluent in Python for creating reusable ETL/ELT processes.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
