Automotive Technician – Toyota Specialist (Northland)

About the role

Northland Toyota is expanding its service team and is looking for an Automotive Technician to become a Toyota specialist. This full‑time, permanent position offers the chance to work with New Zealand’s best‑selling vehicle brand in a modern, well‑equipped workshop.

Key responsibilities

• Perform vehicle servicing, diagnostics and repairs to Toyota standards.
• Identify and resolve electrical and mechanical faults using up‑to‑date tools and software.
• Communicate clearly with customers, delivering high‑quality workmanship.
• Collaborate with team members to meet service targets and maintain workshop efficiency.

Required profile

• Automotive Trade Qualification (NZQA Level 4) or close to completion.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
• Valid NZ driver’s licence and right to work in New Zealand.

Required skills

• Vehicle diagnostics.
