Automotive Technician

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Automotive Technician to join a high‑performing, customer‑centric dealership workshop in West Auckland. You will work in a professional environment where safety, reliability and excellent customer service are core values, helping customers keep their vehicles running smoothly and safely.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing, diagnostics, repairs, inspections and pre‑purchase inspections.
• Use approved parts and procedures to maintain vehicle quality and performance.
• Communicate with Service Advisors to deliver transparent, reliable outcomes for customers.
• Contribute to a proactive workshop culture that prioritises preventative maintenance.

Required profile

• Trade‑qualified Automotive Technician.
• Franchise dealership experience is highly regarded, ideally on Japanese brands.
• Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding abilities.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Team player with a professional attitude, strong work ethic and pride in workmanship.
