Automotive Technician

About the role

Join the Manukau Toyota Group PDI Centre in East Tamaki as an Automotive Technician. You will work in a modern, fast‑paced workshop handling vehicle preparation, servicing, inspections and accessory fitment for a variety of passenger, rental and light commercial vehicles.

Key responsibilities

• Vehicle preparation and Pre‑Delivery Inspection (PDI) work
• Accessory fitment
• Servicing and general mechanical repairs
• Warranty work
• WOF (Warrant of Fitness) inspections
• COF (Certificate of Fitness) inspections for light commercial and rental vehicles

Required profile

• Qualified Automotive Technician
• Previous dealership or franchise experience highly regarded
• WOF certification preferred
• COF authority highly advantageous
• Willingness to obtain WOF/COF certification with company support if not already certified
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high workmanship standards
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
• Current clean driver licence
