Automotive Technician – Ford Specialist (Dargaville)

About the role
We are a family‑owned Ford dealership in Dargaville looking for a qualified Automotive Technician with recent Ford experience. This permanent position offers a stable, long‑term career in a supportive workshop environment, ideal for someone who values high workmanship standards and modern diagnostics.
Key responsibilities
- Service and repair Ford petrol and diesel vehicles.
- Perform advanced diagnostics and electrical fault finding using Ford diagnostic systems.
- Carry out WOF inspections and ensure compliance.
- Complete accurate service documentation for each job.
- Collaborate with a small, professional team to deliver quality workmanship.
Required profile
- Trade‑qualified Automotive Technician.
- Minimum 3 + years recent experience in a Ford dealership.
- Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving abilities.
- Confidence working on both petrol and diesel Ford engines.
- Clear English communication skills and a reliable, team‑focused attitude.
