Atmospheric Scientist – AI Trainer

About the role

DataAnnotation is seeking an Atmospheric Scientist to join its AI Trainer team. You will work remotely, evaluating and improving AI models that perform quantitative scientific reasoning. The role offers flexible hours and the ability to choose projects that match your expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Assess AI‑generated quantitative analyses for technical accuracy and real‑world validity.
• Design and solve quantitative problems used to train and benchmark AI systems, including forecasting, experimental analysis, optimization, and statistical inference.
• Write clear technical explanations and well‑documented analytical code.
• Provide detailed feedback that directly influences the next generation of AI models.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in a quantitative role such as data science, statistics, economics, physics, biology, or related fields.
• Proficiency in English with strong written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (preferred).
