Associate Director, Payments and Cash Management Sales

About the role

The Associate Director, Payments and Cash Management Sales will lead ANZ’s Transaction Banking sales effort for Institutional and Corporate clients. Reporting to the Transaction Banking team, the role focuses on delivering cash management, liquidity and trade solutions that meet client objectives while driving revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic customers, deepening relationships and identifying opportunities to expand ANZ’s Transaction Banking services.
• Develop tailored customer strategies that align with client needs and support ANZ’s growth and revenue objectives.
• Partner with Relationship Managers and product specialists to deliver complex cash management, liquidity and trade solutions.
• Drive business development and sales activity, identifying new opportunities and executing account plans that create long‑term value.
• Maintain strong product knowledge and industry expertise, ensuring customers receive market‑leading insights and solutions.
• Manage risk and compliance obligations, ensuring all activities are conducted in line with ANZ’s policies, regulatory requirements and governance standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in transaction banking or cash management sales within an institutional or corporate environment.
• Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships and influence senior client stakeholders.
• Track record of achieving revenue targets and growing existing accounts.
• Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks relevant to banking services.
