Assistant Store Manager

About the role

Join Skechers Australia as an Assistant Store Manager in Queenstown. You will work closely with the Store Manager to ensure smooth daily operations, coach the team, and help achieve sales targets in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations and meeting KPIs.
• Inspire and guide staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Assist with visual merchandising, stock management and store presentation.
• Help manage wage costs and create effective rosters.
• Mentor and coach team members to foster their development.
• Maintain a safe, compliant, and welcoming store environment.

Required profile

• Motivated emerging retail leader who thrives in a busy environment.
• Experience in a senior sales assistant, key holder, supervisor, 3IC or similar role.
• Proactive attitude with a strong desire to grow leadership skills.
• Passion for team development and delivering great customer experiences.
• Ability to drive sales and meet performance targets.
• Familiarity with stock management, visual merchandising and retail operations.
